Integration ist notwendig, Integration bereichert, aber Integration geschieht nicht einfach so. Integration kann nur gelingen, wenn Menschen sich gemeinsam einbringen, wenn Menschen sich öffnen und wenn Menschen sich engagieren.
Das Mentoren-Projekt „Manibus“ und das Frauenprojekt „Anchor“ der MULTIKULTI WERKSTATT in Hamburg sind zwei Beispiele für ein erfolgreiches und einfühlsames Engagement. Seit der Gründung des gemeinnützigen Vereins im Jahr 2015 setzt sich die MULTIKULTI WERKSTATT ein für die ganzheitliche Integration von Flüchtlingen, Migranten und Migrantinnen in Hamburg und fördert das interkulturelle Miteinander.
Für die MULTIKULTI WERKSTATT ist es ein zentrales Anliegen, durch gegenseitiges Verständnis füreinander, durch Lernen voneinander und durch Kommunikation miteinander das WIR-Gefühl zu stärken und eine WIR-Gesellschaft zu ermöglichen: Die MULTIKULTI WERKSTATT ist Ankerpunkt und Wegbegleiter für Menschen auf dem Weg in ein neues Leben.
